I have always been drawn to people’s stories.

As a writer, observer and storyteller, I love discovering the moments that make every relationship unique: the chance encounter, the shared adventure, the quiet gesture that says more than words ever could.

I have worked in event planning throughout my professional life. For twelve years, my focus was exclusively on destination weddings and events in Italy — mainly in Tuscany, from my home in Florence. I have since swapped the cobbled courtyards of Tuscany for the green vineyards of Hampshire and become an accredited Humanist wedding celebrant.

With more than 20 years’ experience in international event management, working with high-profile clients in extraordinary locations around the world, I still come back to what I have always loved most: talking to people, listening to them and writing about them.

I believe every life is made up of stories.
Stories that make us laugh.
Stories that shape us.
Stories that connect us.
Stories that deserve to be celebrated.

It’s about asking the right questions, but crucially it’s about listening to the answers and understanding who is in front of you.

Over the years as a wedding planner, I came to realise that the ceremony was always my favourite part. It’s the heart. It’s the story.

Weddings can be wonderfully elaborate occasions, with so much thought going into every detail, but for me, the ceremony is the moment when everything else falls away. In a world where we are all rushing, it gives us a rare opportunity to be still, to be present and to focus on what has brought everyone together.

My years creating weddings in Tuscany and the UK have taught me that the most memorable ceremonies are those that, whatever their scale, truly reflect the people they bring together.

I start with you. What you want to create, what you want to say, who you want to share it with — and how much or how little of a song and dance you want to make!

It begins with an informal conversation to get to know each other. From there, I’ll guide you through a few simple steps, offering advice along the way. Importantly, it should be fun!

And when the day itself arrives, you can relax and enjoy it. I’ll be there to deliver your ceremony with warmth, confidence and calm — making sure it feels every bit as natural, personal and joyful as we intended, and that your guests enjoy every second.
